The Outdoor Router Client (ORC) is an NDIS Miniport driver that runs on Windows 95, 98, NT. This driver enables an ORiNOCO Fixed Wireless PC Card (11 Mb) to communicate to a Central Outdoor Router (COR).

Within a configuration the Central Outdoor Router can connect up to 32 ORCs per channel. In one area up to 3 CORs (using 3 radios, each at a different channel) are possible, enabling up to 96 ORCs to connect to the central network.

The Outdoor Router Client allows bandwidth management. Bandwidth management allows the ISP to plan his network accordingly and to sell a different data pipe to customers charging different monthly fees.
